Children learn about their world through sensory play. Sensory bins also helps them with independent and imaginary play The supplies in the bins provide opportunities for children to develop fine motor skills, life skills, and pre-math skills without even knowing it.
We use Pluffle a playfoam filler for our sensory bins. Pluffle moves as the children play in it. It is non-toxic and does not dry out. This sensory kit comes with one canister of pink Pluffle.
You can add a lid with the bin for your child to play in and best of all...storage with a latch lid.
Why are sensory bins great for children?
Sensory bins are used to nurture a variety of developmental and life skills, as well as promote creative and independent play. Worried about mess? We have some tips
For easy clean up:
-Put a towel or table cloth under the sensory bin
-Use the bin on table (use tweezers to push play foam filler back in bin afterwards)
-Place bin in a large shipping box
-Monitor children the first couple of times and help them understand that sensory filler and pieces should stay in the container
