ON June 12th, we will host our first Marvelous Mondays for an adult with their their child(ren). We will listen to stories and sing songs, and then make our rainbow sensory bin. During our left over time, children will be able to interact with one another and play with rainbow themed items.
I also have accommodations for younger children, who are still putting items in their mouths. We just ask that you sign up for a sensory bottle (where items are secure in the bottle after it's made). Children will not be able to open the bottle, but can search for items that are different colors of the rainbow. They will also be able to count the gems or mini rainbows in the bottle.
The other option for younger children: we can make a taste safe bin with fruit loops or rainbow pasta. Then we use larger accessories and no gems to eliminate the choking hazards.
